How to tune a Drum kit
Drums have no fixed pitch, but tuning toms to intervals (fourths for rock, thirds for jazz) makes fills sing. Use the presets as targets.

Step by step
- Allow microphone access when your browser asks (audio stays on your device).
- Play one note and let it ring. The tuner detects which string or note you are playing.
- Follow the needle: left means flat (tighten / raise), right means sharp (loosen / lower).
- When the note turns green you are within ±3 cents. Move on to the next one.
Pro tip
Tune each lug in a star pattern, tapping 2–3 cm in front of each one; the tuner helps you match the overall pitch.
